Don’t just watch your child learn music. Learn it together.
Your child learns.
You learn.
And eventually, you play together.
TFC Play Together is an 8-session parent-child music experience where children learn keyboard — or guitar for suitable older children — while parents learn guitar, keyboard or ukulele to accompany them.
Imagine your child playing Mary Had a Little Lamb while you play the chords underneath.
That’s the idea.
Make music together.
How It Works
The child
Learns their instrument, songs, rhythm and basic musical skills.
The parent
Learns an accompanying instrument and the chords or patterns needed to play along.
For example:
Your child learns Mary Had a Little Lamb on keyboard.
You learn the C and G chords and a simple rhythm on guitar or ukulele.
Then you play it together.
It’s simple.
It’s musical.
And it’s something you can continue doing at home.
