What Is TFC Fast Track?
TFC Fast Track is The First Chord Academy’s intensive music programme — 8 sessions designed to take you from zero to confidently playing music you actually love.
Each session is 45 to 60 minutes on a Saturday or Sunday morning at 11 AM at our academy in Banaswadi. You choose your instrument — guitar, keyboard or ukulele — and every session is taught by Eric himself with full 1:1 attention.
You can complete the 8 sessions in one month (attending both Saturday and Sunday each week) or spread them over two months (one session per weekend). The choice is yours — as long as all 8 sessions are done within 2 months of joining. Up to 2 sessions can be rescheduled in case of an emergency, and the academy is closed every 5th week of the month.
Every session builds directly on the last. By Session 8, you are playing.

Guitar

The most versatile instrument in the world. Guitar opens everything from Bollywood to classic rock to contemporary pop.
The TFC Fast Track guitar programme is built around real chords and real songs — not exercises in isolation. You will learn how music works on the guitar, not just how to repeat what you were taught.
Keyboard
Keyboard is the instrument of melody and harmony together. The Fast Track keyboard programme covers both hands, chords, scales, and full songs — including classics like Stand By Me, Lean on Me, and I’m Yours — so that by Session 8 you are playing complete arrangements.
If you love the idea of singing while you play, keyboard is your instrument.
Ukulele
The ukulele is the fastest path from zero to playing a complete song. Small, portable, and far richer-sounding than most people expect. Most students are genuinely surprised by how much they can play within the first three sessions.

The TFC Fast Track Approach
Most beginners spend weeks on theory and technical groundwork before they play anything that sounds like actual music. That approach works — eventually. But for adults with real lives and limited weekend time, it kills motivation before anything meaningful happens.
At TFC the approach is different. You play first. Understanding follows naturally. Eric has developed a specific teaching method — built and refined over more than a decade of performing and teaching — that moves students from their very first session to playing real, recognisable music faster than they expect.
The 8-session structure is deliberate and proven. We are not going to tell you exactly how it works here. Come in for Session 1 and you will see why it is different from anything you have tried before.
Pricing
One course. One price. Everything included.
₹15,000 for all 8 sessions — guitar, keyboard or ukulele. That is ₹1,875 per session for structured, outcome-focused, 1:1 learning with the founder of TFC. No hidden fees, no registration costs beyond the course fee. Payment is split across two instalments: 50% when you join, 50% before Session 5.
Corporate and Team Packages
Most team activities are forgotten by Monday morning. Learning to play a song is not. It is a skill, a shared memory, and a story your team will tell for years.
TFC Fast Track for corporate teams includes:
• Minimum 5 participants, up to 12 per cohort
• Instrument of choice — ukulele recommended for groups, guitar or keyboard also available
• Weekend morning scheduling — no disruption to the working week
• TFC Fast Track Certificate of Completion for every participant
• Custom scheduling available
- Keyboard is provided at the academy. Guitar and ukulele players are requested to bring their own instrument. If you do not have one, a rental charge of ₹200 per session applies. Any damage to academy instruments (broken strings etc.) is chargeable at cost.
Who Teaches TFC Fast Track?
Eric Vivian Rodrigues
Eric Rodrigues founded The First Chord Academy after more than a decade as a performing musician in Bangalore. He has taught complete beginners to perform at weddings, anniversaries, and family events — often getting them performance-ready in just a handful of sessions.
TFC Fast Track is the formalised 8-session version of that method. Every Fast Track student is taught directly by Eric — not passed to a junior instructor. When you book TFC Fast Track, you get the founder.
How to Enroll
There is no batch to wait for and no complicated process.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior experience?
None at all. TFC Fast Track is built for complete beginners. You will be playing real music from your very first session — not memorising theory first.
Which instrument is easiest to start with?
Ukulele gives the fastest results — most students play a recognisable song within 3 sessions. Guitar takes a little longer to build finger strength but opens more music long-term. Keyboard requires hand coordination that usually clicks suddenly around Session 3 or 4. Eric will help you choose when you get in touch.
Can I choose which songs I play?
Yes. Before your first session, tell us what you love — Bollywood, English pop, rock, folk. The 8-session structure is fixed but the songs you work through reflect your taste.
How long do I have to finish the 8 sessions?
You can complete all 8 sessions in one month by attending both Saturday and Sunday each week, or take one session per weekend and finish in two months. All 8 sessions must be completed within 2 months of joining. Up to 2 sessions can be carried forward in case of emergency. The academy is closed every 5th week of the month — this will be factored into your schedule when you join.
What if I miss a session?
Up to 2 sessions can be rescheduled within your 2-month window. We understand that life happens — just let us know in advance.
Do I need to bring an instrument?
Keyboard is provided at the academy. If you are learning guitar or ukulele, please bring your own instrument. If you do not have one yet, a rental charge of ₹200 per session applies. Eric can also point you to where to buy the right instrument for your budget before your first session.
What happens after the 8 sessions?
Many Fast Track students continue into TFC’s regular music programme. Your 8 sessions give you a real foundation — and the next step, if you want it, is already here.
Is this only for adults?
TFC Fast Track is designed for adults (18+) and working professionals. For children, our regular classes are a better fit. Ask when you get in touch and we will guide you.
Do you visit offices for corporate sessions?
All sessions currently run at The First Chord Academy in Banaswadi. Outstation arrangements for larger groups can be discussed. WhatsApp us your requirements and we will see what we can do.
